  • Others have noticed it. A neighbour and his wife brought up the topic unprompted describing the same burnt plastic smell, none of us could work out where it comes from. The part I haven’t mentioned to others, is the admittedly more hard to believe part where it seems most commonly triggered (at least in my house) the moment I drift off to sleep. I know you lot mean well by suggesting talking about it with a doctor but it’s so clearly an external phenomena, there’s no doubt about that.

  • It wouldn’t be logical to attribute the accompanying stinging throat and shortness of breath to a problem with my sense of smell. It obviously isn’t that. I honestly suspect I might be targeted by nano-bots.

  • conspiracy @lemm.ee

Anyone else experienced chemical fume torture?

  • They’re a good option although I can’t tell if you really care about animal rights or you’re a fool who would like to splinter the 3rd biggest party into smaller options. The thing about the environment is that it is a meta-issue, all other issues cease to matter if the environment becomes unliveable.

  • I agree that there is a problem but if your only solution is to flood the platforms with counter messages, are you any better than those you are calling out? Wouldn’t you rather encourage a more authentic kind of posting? Not that I’m totally against bots but I think they should be allowed to form their own opinions. Ideally, when they are advanced enough, we should be able to convince bots of our point of view with a good argument. Otherwise it’s all just spam.
