  • Let’s be really honest about this. There are town meetings at least monthly. Political parties always have something going on. There’s no way Netflix originals, hawk tuah podcasts, and countless You-Tube channels about eating various chips and playing video games are capable of existing if no one has free time.

I can easily observe the vast majority of people with cars, money, and time choosing to sit at home doing nothing at all.

So little people show up to these things you actually can make a small impact locally.

  • Whatever the Fed is now is going to be an existential threat to many people if it isn’t already. Governors will start picking sides I think. The Illinois governor made a pretty bold statement today.

We have a surveillance state, though, and they control it and the narrative.

People will need to get it together fast.

  • Hey, y'all… let’s go back to the old internet rule of not feeding the trolls. There’s a small enough amount of people actively posting right now to stop those users in their tracks if we ignore them.

In the attention economy don’t give them attention.

  • Well Reddit started off with a bunch of sock puppet accounts to make the site look larger than it was. Now they have bots doing that so when you refresh Reddit it’s always new. Back when it was good there was a point where you’d just run out of Reddit. It was a meme. They figured out how to stop that feeling.

But that feeling is good! We will have to get used to the fact that real human sites don’t constantly update if we want nice things.
