I second the ASUSTOR flash NAS. 12 m.2 slots, you can cheap out and get 4TB instead of 8TB drives for better TB/$. Has built in software/OS that’s essentially plug and play into any LAN and you won’t have to tie it to your day to day computer.
So, $85/2TB isn't even that good of a price, I'll raise this by one more level.
I was looking to populate a flash NAS with 4TB M.2s, and 2 non-brand SSDs came up during Amazon's BF sale at around $138-$145. I ended up picking a set of Teamgroup MP34s at $151. Basically, for a few bucks more, I'm buying a peace of mind on a real company. The fact that you did some basic research and cannot find a history with this company should raise the red flag for you. Are you really willing to bet data security for possibly years, on saving less than $10?
