You decide by being born.
Samaritanism is the same religion as in 'the parable of the good Samaritan' in the new testament, though obviously evolved
Is it a gamble? It shouldn't be that hard to beat trump. Any other possible candidate would've smoked him in the debate.
If he steps out of the race now, do his delegates become unbound?
It wouldn't automatically go to Kamala, she isn't technically on the ticket even. That gets formalized at the convention.
Its all a moot point though because he won't step down
Just settle this with a round of golf
It was already on sale, but if you like city builders, logistics, and communism then Workers and Resources is fresh out of early access and supposed to be really good. Same publisher as manor lords and some other good games. I was gonna give it a try tonight
It may have a websearch tool, but also might know enough from its training data. Maybe they scrape publicly viewable instances of anything for training.
What Jesus said and did is mostly pretty dope. The early church was dope to and fully organized around mutual aid. But then it quickly became authoritarian/apostolic. Even in a 'leftist' church the precedent always seems to be respecting authority above all else
You leftist bozos have no idea how hard it is to make payments on my lifted F350, my wife's Suburban, all the while still paying off our mortgage for our 6 bedroom 8 bath. Not to mention Disney increased prices which will make our Florida vacation even more expensive. Trump please save us...
I mean I've more or less been using chatgpt as a google replacement for a couple months now
I know little to nothing of uk politics. But maybe to build new stuff and fund NHS in general maybe they should raise taxes? Only conservatives are allowed to use the "economy is gonna grow for sure trust me bro" line
The one relatively rational lemmy.ml user getting flamed for stating facts. Lemmy.world is like r/world news but worse, what a shithole
The plasma centers make medicines from your antibodies and shit. Technically you aren't selling your plasma, and it is a donation, but they are Just compensating you for your time. That's the loophole I guess
Idk why blood banks don't pay except for a $10 amazon gift card or a tshirt here and there. Maybe they just have enough public goodwill and there is still enough altruism left in this world
I did for a period. It kinda sucks because if they mess something up you don't get paid. Sometimes you have to wait a while and it makes it not as worth the time. The pay generally goes down after your first month promo is over
Still, its worth trying out and was good time for getting some reading done. It really depends how well your center is run
I never had any medical issues or side effects, except that alcohol would hit me like a truck the days I donated
The whole premise of it a is really icky and you are being exploited in a major way. The people working there are also not paid all that well AFAIK. You'll notice that the centers tend to be in low income neighborhoods. And while they say you are "doing a great thing" and helping people with rare diseases, you are really helping them turn huge profits as the specialized medicines they make from the plasma are very expensive for the patients as well.
I had the best time with grifols/biomat. I also tried biolife (decent) and octapharma (bad)
When you're promo is up, you can switch to a different center for their promo but you must wait one week in?between.
Wow, who knew the army that loves setting fire to tents full of babies would have a problem with mental illness
I started at $45/hr with a PhD in chemistry. The new project is $50/hr with $12.50 bonus per task that makes it past review
If you have expertise and/or an advanced degree they pay more
I also work for outlier. Its kinda bullshit because last week my project abruptly ended, then I got added to a new project which also abruptly halted but supposedly will restart this week. So a whole week so far with no tasks. But when the goings good it is nice and flexible and pays.
The pay scales higher if you have more advanced degrees / expertise, so for those who want part time remote work and have a graduate degree its especially worth it. Depending on the project it can actually be pretty interesting and stimulating
It was perfect against that totally surprise attack from Iran
After having a week to prepare and the US shooting down 2/3 of the ordinance for them
But that's just CCP propaganda! Meta is protecting our free speech, and using our data to train their AI to also be a good ol' amerikkkan boy
It has turned out that the actual deep fakes aren't causing problems in society. Just the chuds claiming everything is a deepfake when they get exposed for being genocidal/racist/fascist
