It is I don't follow or use every app listed here and I sometimes keep apps that are discountined not for user but for devs that could fork it. I will remove Lemmur as they are many other client available now.

This isn't a FOSS apps list but a Free (as free beer) software list for Windows with a bunch of cool FOSS apps https://alternativeto.net/list/29653/my-windows-setup/
Damn, will try this one !
You can buy the SMS verification for Telegram on sites likes smspool.net using crypt I currencies such as Bitcoin or Monero.
If you don't install software made from people that are not align with your ethics there are probably more than just brave.
Thanks Steam ROM Manager looks nice
I'de rather go with Linux Mint Cinnamon or Nobara with their custom GNOME DE
I will rather go with a second hand 2-3 years old premium laptop from a Linux manufacturer such as System76 or Tuxedo.
The real downside of brave is the cryptocrap. It is still optional. However the fact that it support the chromium monopoly is also a bad point.
I think you confuse security and privacy. Samsung are pretty secure from what I saw. They are not private at all however. You can debloat it with adb and maybe tools such as Universal Android Debloater.
There is a couple of guide such as this one: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1402380-ultimate-samsung-oneui-debloat-privacy-customization-guide/
I founded it but I have a Nobara Lutris and it can't find it :(
I wish I discovered that sooner thanks you. Except a few games they all have good artwork, etc...
Pretty much the title. I installed my GOG games through Lutris and wanted to rapidly import them to Steam. Same for emulated ROM. Do you have advices ?
Oh I was pretty sure the FP4 was released in 2022 as I got a 5 years warranty that will end up in 2027.
I don't have that comparison but here are some resources that critics FlatPak's misleading security

You can download them from other sources ;)
I like Fairphone's mission but kinda feel meh about their execution. Don't get me wrong they probably do better than everyone else. But releasing a phone per year isn't great for the environment. Removing the headphone jack wasn't for ecological reasons. Making tiny earbuds isn't in hand with easy reparability. And you can't upgrade anything !
I wish they will slow the pace for a release every 2 years with better upgradability. I also wish they would work with GrapheneOS so the hardware and firmware are secure enough for the Graphene team to work on that device.
But nice that the brand is still alive. I hope they won't go too much into green washing.
FlatPak is not the as secure as everyone think it is.
Would like to see open source client such as Infinity, Stealth, RedReader, etc... going to lemmy.
The best case scenario would be all reddit client including Apollo, Boost, etc... supporting the transition to lemmy but this is quite unlikely unfortunately...
Often people tend to say due to the lack of funding open source apps have bad UI and also sometimes terrible UX. While it’s not entierly false I’ve found myself some beautifuly designed apps and wanted to share them here.
