Your parallel mode sounds like a great idea. Guitar effects in the studio were typically run in stereo anyways.

Thanks for the advice! I have to admit, it does feel really redundant but I play a very low output custom guitar so I can’t get those searing hot Marshall tones with just the amps, but the JB can push the amp in a way that gives it a natural distorted push. I’ve tried boosting the muff with BD side, but it just doesn’t give the same chug that the screamer does

Its a Wah/Fuzz. I haven’t been able to find what kind of fuzz circuit it is, but it seems to be some kind of tone bender to my ears. The intent if the pedal is to simulate a parked wah sound by adjusting the treadle position with the freq knob. I use it as a regular wah pedal by plugging into the expression jack. There’s also a dip switch inside that switched the “fuzz off” setting on it to a “wah off” setting. Its both the most versatile fuzz and wah pedal I’ve ever used and I highly recommend it if you want to explore some insane dirt tones.

The Triumph is a tube screamer, but I like rolling the mids off for a more flat eq. I have the golden horse but it’s been off of my board for a while so maybe I’ll try that between the muff and the triumph. I love the sound of the BD with the TS, its the perfect amount of harshness without being overbearingly shrill for me.

Mine was intense and vivid. I suffered from depression for as long as I could remember and I thought about killing myself every day. I had super intense anxiety that never calmed down too. I prayed and prayed about it to Jesus and it never went away and that caused me to leave the church for a few years. I rededicated my life to Jesus as a last ditch effort and because I thought it would help me a little bit and I started reading my bible more but nothing with my depression changed yet. It wasn’t until a restless night I had where I was ready to kill myself that I decided to open my bible one last time and I came across this.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭

These verses made me realize that if I’m not able to have that peace of God, then I must be doing something wrong. So I just started praying and repenting of any sin I could dig up on myself and nothing was working until I asked God to forgive me for wanting to kill myself and I immediately felt the blood of Jesus wash over me and I have not struggled ever since. Every day to me now is like a vivid spiritual experience, like Jesus is with me every second. This is not a feeling, but a knowing. Its putting 100% of my faith in Jesus that allowed him to change my life.

That’s how I felt growing up in the church until about last year. You can’t feel the holy spirit unless you give up all of the sin in your life to Jesus.

People can be born in the church, but Jesus said you must be born again. Only then will the Holy Spirit live inside you.

JHS 3 series fuzz is a bender

I am pretty sure the FF is an adaption of an original tone bender

Its beautiful but that preamp is such a bummer for me! Taking a hunk out of such a nice instrument. I much prefer external preamps but its otherwise a perfect instrument.
