That's almost exactly the opposite of the truth. The hotter coffee stays the faster it burns and the more the caffeine breaks down. It a recipe for hot burnt bean water that doesn't even wake you up.

Usually they put meters on poles when a nearby business requests lights on a pole. Maybe they also requested a outlet so they could clean the sidewalk with corded tools as well?
