I have an old asus zenfone 2 with the x86 processor. Has anyone tried turning it into a small server? It runs some whatever old android at this point, and I figure it could still run a thing or two.
I think old school gaming in general was simpler and more enjoyable/to the point. I have most nostalgia for PS1 stuff, but I really like a bit of everything
40GiB of game ROMs of all sorts. A ton of snes/megadrive oldies, some PS1 stuff.
Now I want to expand to Wii and Gamecube...
ngl, this is my lifelong goal. Have a house and being able to install and own green technology. Too bad that's mostly out of reach for anyone born in the 90's.
Are you thinking of a mobile app or something else, like fully separate hardware you'd carry around? Sounds interesting
Not from US. iTunes wasn't even considered/known as an option here, let alone having people using it.
Estranho, aqui ta normal. Ja atualizou ele pra última versão? Saiu um update grande esses dias.
I say they'll just know they can't trust your OS install completely, so it may refuse to serve you HD content, or maybe some banking stuff can fail.. some online game may not work, etc.
I haven't taken time to actually read about it unfortunately, but I feel like this whole TPM thing is just gonna be PC enshittification vector. I wish I'm wrong about this...
Win11 is just win10 with (basically) enforced hardware security TPM. So, you know, websites and shit know your hardware is legit, to check if you're allowed to play that sweet 4k video you already pay that subscription for.
So, what's next? Mouse and keyboard DRM? Also, not sure how'd cheaters would cheat in lan games nowadays. Great video btw
Eu uso o "local" pra ver as coisas em BR e "all" pra ver conteúdo federado. Tô usando o client Thunder.
I'm a male. I eventually gave up and shaved the whole thing. Not really interested in taking meds the rest of my life or doing some uber expansive surgery to try and fix it. I do have a nice beard I take good care of though.
Meta just announced that they are trying to integrate Threads with ActivityPub (Mastodon, Lemmy, etc.). We need to defederate them if we want to avoid them pushing their crap into fediverse. If you’re a server admin, please defederate Meta’s domain “threads.net [http://threads.net]” If you don’t run...
Salve galerinha.
I just wing it at first, and figure stuff out as I go, even in online stuff. BG3 in particular, by the end of chapter 2 you'll be pretty familiarized with mechanics. Inventory management is here, but worth doing sometimes. I just unload stuff from main character into someone else in the party.
