We’re in a country with very little organized labor compared to other countries in Europe or Latin America where strikes are common. Also cops here are highly militarized. Plus we are a massive country. Still, I think Americans need to consider a general strike and organize if need be. Is it easy? Obviously not. But I’ll happily take some optimism in these dark times.
No. The main rival of Panathinaikos is Olympiakos. The significance is really me promoting my new Panathinaikos community by sharing to the football/soccer communities here, and that Panathinaikos is making a comeback after a dismal start to this season and is in contention for the title.
Republican Thomas Massie introduced bill HR 899 to "terminate the Department of Education"
Obviously this is just the introduction of a bill. Hopefully it goes nowhere.
