  • Our newly-elected Premier has unfortunately doubled down on giving cars priority with the mandated removal of bike lanes and building new highways (413), even though their own data says that Toronto with be just as congested a few years after building them.

Oh I forgot to mention the tunnel under the 401, which is a massive boondoggle waiting to happen

  • I am against stripping citizenship from anyone, Musk included, unless the citizenship was obtained under false pretenses.

In the end, I signed this petition yesterday simply to voice my discontent, knowing that this would never happen.

Has he committed treason against Canada? Unsure.

    Election interference? More likely

  • I bought the absolute cheapest model and had to stretch my budget a little in order to do it

I looked to sell mine about 2 years ago, but the resale on it was so bad, I just couldn't afford it.

I have to settle for just never buying another Elon product, even preferring 3rd party chargers instead of superchargers. And maybe get one of those bumper stickers

  • Did I detect a hint of cynicism there?

"It's expected to take four to five years to design the future high-speed line. Funds are to be allocated at the end of that time period, so it's possible a future government could modify or cancel the project."

I'm hoping this comes to pass, but I have a small shred of doubt

  • Might be a bit late of a reply, but I was able to install the Broadcom drivers super easy on my 2013 MBP. I know, different laptop, but same driver.

After installing Manjaro, KDE Neon, and Kubuntu, here's what I did:

I paired it with my phone and shared my internet connection, then downloaded the Broadcom driver in the repo. Done!

I also installed Aurora (Fedora immutable distro) on it, and the Broadcom drivers were already installed, so it just worked, but every time my laptop went to sleep it crashed and I had to hold the power button to start it, so I gave up on that and installed Neon

  • I've had several machines that refuse to update because of error 0x

    <insert hex number here>

    .

In fact, one of my kids has that happening right now.

At least that part is not isolated to OP. It doesn't happen to me anymore since I switched to Linux about a year ago

  • I really wanted one but couldn't afford it. Then I was able to and did. Then the Elon shit hit the fan, and now I'm stuck with a dick mobile.

I looked at trading it in for a Hyundai Ioniq 5 or something else, but I would be out thousands if I did
