As a new person to lemmy and the fediverse concept as a whole, when I was looking for an instance to join it was the unique URL that drew me here. And the fact it's run by a fellow wargoose. I can see why people would dislike the URL though. So far I like it here and hope it doesn't change.

Also still trying out android apps for browsing. Trying sync, boost, and gerboa ATM. Sync and gerboa are winning so far.

Actually yeah. I tried signing up with one email but it never sent me the verification. Had to use a diff email to finally get setup but that first account is just in limbo as far as I know. Anyone I can ask about that?

Working on getting setup on fediverse myself. It's taken a bit to get my head around the idea.
