Repeat after me "this problem isn't bothering me". There! fixed it
  • Worked the first six years of my career using no version history tracking or backups at all on one of our main systems. Nobody knew we didn't have backups and I didn't know how to use git and figured it wasn't so important since I was maintaining it alone anyway.

(I don't do any of those things anymore)

  • Do you get sick of the same songs and how do you combat it?
  • I don't understand how that is possible. I switch which genres I am mostly into several times a year. I wish I could be one of those die hard fans that stick to the same stuff year in and year out. It seems so peaceful.

  • Do you get sick of the same songs and how do you combat it?
  • Radiohead is one of those bands that evolve their sound a lot, so it is not so weird that you mostly enjoy just a few of their albums.

That said ok computer and its spiritual successor in rainbows are those albums for me.

Also Thom Yorkes track suspirium from the suspiria soundtrack album is one of those songs I cannot stop listening to. That track is often played three times in a row for me.

  • Boys will be boys
  • Yeah, not letting go of our social securities. Our political partiets are slowly shifting rightwards though. So those services are getting shittier. Our hospitals are for some reason supposed to not lose money now. Free healthcare, but at a budget.

  • Boys will be boys
  • You can drink the tap water everywhere here. So if you ask for water at a restaurant that's what you get and it will be free of charge. Some outdoor concert venues only keep bottled water and charge for it. That is considered a dick move.

  • do you use 4chan?
  • I was a casual /b/tard around that time. I never saw CP, luckily, or maybe I just skipped those threads by reflex, but a lot of gore went by. There was a lot of fun image macros and stuff. Bur after a while I dropped out of it. I think it was about the same time I got really addicted to stumbleupon. Stumbleupon was my first tailored algorithm and my dopamine receptors haven't been the same since.

  • Prowlarr vs overserr/jellyserr

I have bought my first proper home server and am setting up a full stack of media services on truenas scale after years of doing everything manually. In that regard I have set up jellyfin, sabnzbd and radarr, and the next step is to add jellyserr it seems. But then I stumble across prowlarr and cannot figure out if it is a contender to or a supplement to jellyserr. Can somebody tell me what the difference is, if I should use both if they are complementing each other or which you are using if they are competing?

I'm not sure if this is a feature request or bug report. But I wish it was possible to mark replies as read so that only new replies shows up. And so that the notification disappears if there are no new replies.

Preferably I wish they were marked as read as soon as i interact with them in any way. (Vote, click or reply)

I am using Memmy for Lemmy 0.5.1 on a fully updated iPhone 13.
