  • Cheeseburgers, close second hamburger

  • I played terminal velocity, kind of like the 'we have descent at home'

Also around that time there was a game Magic Carpet EA published that had a similar feel

  • Doom WADs for a huge back catalog, elder scrolls mods for Bethesda tools and a pretty big player base, Unity/UE for more professional game designer tools, mega man maker for something quick and simple and fun to jump into

  • Stilsuits: get it for the unbearable heat as we turn the Earth into a desert, now with wifi blocking!

  • I thought we were going with musicians and actors for asking public figures about geopolitical events they are neither experts in nor qualified to address

  • Yeah they're not going for productivity, they're an AI company. They just want the appearance of it to juice up their valuation or to stroke an executive's ego.

  • That's ok, they can promise more with no intention of ever paying it because there's a special privileged 'preferred' stock that the bigger investors and executives get that's prioritized for sales and dividends before anyone else's.

  • The elder scrolls 3: Morrowind. Jokes on the game designer though doesn't matter how many main story npcs I killed because I have no idea which merchant I sold the shadow shield to.

  • 'Almost all' makes me wonder about what the other ones are

  • If you demonstrate you're willing to murder civilians and kids to accomplish your political goals don't be surprised when someone does the same to you.

  • Taxes are the prerogative of Congress not executive. This is a continuation of decades of usurping power from the legislative to centralizing under executive that illustrates why both US political parties entail right wing politics.

  • 4 and 5 were both fun if you ignore the in game store and goals and just play around in the open world with other players or find some stretch of road to see if you can get a top speed, perfect a drift around a sharp turn, etc.

  • Haha yeah, it's definitely not as bad as cocaine shark, sharks of the corn, sharknado, etc low budget shlock and had some fun visual special effects that 100m+ budget went into

  • Recently watched both and I have to agree. Same for deep blue sea, pretty fun, cheesy monster shark movie followed by a series of cheaply produced movies that are hard to stay interested in for the whole run time following in the tradition of jaws.

  • And he's not even a professor of medicine or pathology, this talking authoritatively about things outside your field is really getting out of hand /s

  • I find cultivating some creative outlet and hobbies provides a resilience against my desire to ride the hype on the latest thing/tech/game/book/etc. Also using lists, waiting for sales, and spending more money where I spend most of my time.
