Thoughts on buying an S22 Ultra right now?

Hey all! I'm finally looking at upgrading from my LG V30. I love the phone but it's really starting to show its age.

I got my V30 about a year after it came out, used, so I'm not a stranger to buying used, year old phones. Particularly, the screen, camera, and battery life. I'm the type to go all out on customization, so a new launcher, debloater, etc will be used (but I don't usually root my devices). The S22U is available for $5-600 new in some spots. Would you consider buying one at that price, or is the S23U a worthy enough upgrade to pay the extra few hundred?

We’re in a Golden Age of Illegal Sports Streams
  • This article really doesn't say much of anything, does it?

Either way, yeah I'd argue that for as bad as TV/movie streaming has gotten, sports have actually gotten worse. The NHL, for instance, requires ESPN+ but you can't watch your local team. If you aren't in your local teams area, you can't watch any nationally broadcasted games on ESPN, TNT, or NHL Network, which accounts to many games a year if you're a fan of a big market team.

With that in mind, finding the right stream is honestly harder than many people say. No, lots of streams out there aren't in high quality, many are choppy, and some will crash at random moments. Once you find the right stream, hold on to it close to your chest.

  • What phone is a power user's best bet in 2023?

With fewer phones including stand-out features, I'm curious to know what everyone thinks the best phone for an android enthusiast/power user is nowadays?

Your definition of a power user is obviously up to you, but I always thought of one as someone who experiments with third party apps, is open to flashing, sideloads apps, debloats, etc in order to get the most bang for your buck, and the first thing that comes to mind is the Pixel series (but what do i know?)

    What do you all think?
