  • It's a mark of how nothing can be definitively know and every person occupies their own isolated universe that there could still be support for NATO in 2023. The most graceful thing I can thing of is many people were too young to be adults during Iraq and Libya, and for some bizarre reason don't know about the atrocities in Yemen.

    • They know about it all. The only reason they don't care is because the Victims were not white. The only reason they care about Ukraine is because Ukrainians are white. This was literally the propaganda they used at the start of the war that it's "heartbreaking to see white people with blue eyes and blonde hair getting killed"

      • Oh yeah I remember now. I thought it was extremely weird because generally speaking as a group I don't think Slavs are usually considered white. Certainly not by most white supremacists. But then the war started and suddenly Ukrainians were white people.

        • That's because the real metric that determines "whiteness" is class collaboration, after clearing the passable colorism bar
