The Knesset passed a bill on Monday banning the UN agency for Palestine refugees from operating in Israel.
I legit don’t understand how they can block a UN agency? Like, what? Is that legal - I know they’re killing UN peacekeepers which should also be illegal but this seems a step even beyond that. Can countries just ban UN agencies from working there?

If you're tired of randomly seeing your old sub getting mentioned out of nowhere I think it's time to drop the panopticon because there's no way more than 12 people know about that place and I'd be surprised if it has been brought up more than 10 times across all of human history. I recently admonished Hexbear's behavior of acting like we're less online than each other to scold and browbeat people, but I seriously think you need to see the light of the sun and crawl out of your goon cave.
I read Hexbear threads because I tend to read a lot of Lemmy threads in general. A lot of the time I don’t realize the instance it was posted to until I realize most of the comments are from Hexbear or that there’s a higher number of hyper violent takes than normal. That’s what’s so insidious about this instance.
