How overloaded would the Tankie Tube server(s?) get if a popular content creator like Rathbone migrated to us instead?
After his TikTok account was deleted and his YouTube channel de-monetised, pro-Palestine content creator Rathbone migrated to right-wing Rumble. Seems like an odd choice based strictly on ideology, and I figure it's probably only a matter of time before Rumble kicks him too, simply on the Palestine question alone.
So that begs the question - how capable is Tankie Tube of absorbing a popular content creator? Assuming this is going to continue to happen more and more (Hasanabi seems like he's on the Twitch chopping block at this very moment).
iirc he was working in a private school as a music teacher and then quit to start a band with one of his 13 or 14 year old students. In the article about the band i read he also described her as "very mature for her age"
By pure luck I can answer some of that, basically he had a 14yo bandmate that said was his 'muse' and stuff like that, he used to give her music lessons then they formed a 'band' and he wanted to run away with her I think? It's just a very weird situation. Last I heard she left the band, I think this was before he started making tiktoks, don't know if they're still in contact.
Tbh rathbone is wrong about a lot of stuff all the time and he's a patsoc.
Oh yeah... he takes a rightist view on issue of Amerikkka being a settler-colonial country, saying that American nationalism chauvinism should be repurposed towards socialist patriotic purposes, patsoc/MAGA,
Considering socialist patriotism is more aligned with post-national liberation framework and self-determination for its new independent, native people and its indigenous minorities, than a settler-state based on the former's displacement and eradiction by foreign potential small capitalists, aided by empire, this take on Amerikkka is heavily flawed
And if you think that's bad, wait until you hear about the history of sexual abuse and grooming built into Hollywood stretching back to its early days in the 1920s!
