give me a reason why I shouldn't buy direct from china rather than paying double or triple from an australian supplier for the exact same thing? ( i'm not talking about fakes )
I can't think of any
Consumer protection.
So don't do it anything electrical or high priced. Or that's gonna touch food.
I don't, I'm careful to buy known brands of electrical ( do lamps count? I'll test them myself for safety ) and only buy dinner ware here.
Then go ham. I get shit at temu all the time. It's the same anko crap without the markup
not just anko, so many stores
His Lordship has a bunch of comfy comfy tshirts that are actual quality, true to size and last through multiple washes for $10 a pop. Kmart can eat his arse.
You’re always on about the dignity and rights of Australian workers.
Spending money domestically where you can is part of ensuring that there are Australian workers. Obviously there are practical limitations on when and where you can do this, but purchasing locally supports local jobs
I'll purchase australian made as much i can.
here's the thing, thee big shop cartels have on purpose driven aussie manufacturers out of business with their buying policies
I can't buy australian made if the shops don't sell it
