Liberals, leftist, rightist, whateverist… this is the way how to restrict a person way of thinking and polarizing population.
Stop using those terms and your world will become a spectrum instead of couple of boxes. The best way how to comtrol pesants is to give them more than one choice but not too many and make them fight each other instead of you.
On hte other hand… ignorance is bliss.
I agree that our ruling class uses idpol as yet another way to divide us and pit us against each other, and avoiding labels where possible is a plus, but sometimes it is unavoidable. Everyone partakes in spreading anticommunist propaganda, but the weirdly most ardent champions of anticommunism lately is not conservatives/fascists but liberals/"leftists" who should, theoretically, be the easiest to sway to our position. People do identify and identify strongly with these labels, it is important that we attack the label and degrade the faith they have in their respective niche within the wider cult.
I am thinking about this in more general way putting everything concrete aside. Where I see the problem is exactly in this extreme need of people putting themselves into boxes, discarding any ideas just because they come from another box. What I find really scary is people thinking there are only two of them.
Regarding attacking the label... I think it greatly depends on the label and the scope and being 'leftist' or 'rightist' seems just too broad... on the other hand I am not from US so maybe that is the problem in understanding this two party political thing.
Anyway... thanks for the response. Out of 32 downvotes you are the only one being able to respond as a reasonable adult human being.
