Lord. they want to exert ownership over someones living situation. i wouldn't be surprised in the next 10-50 years they study the mental aspects of what drives a person to want to be in power over others. probably a genetic trait that's dispositioned in psychotic behavior,like ruling over a another person who couldn't buy the house they live in because the lord bought all the land.
