More depressing would be the victory of "outworld" Biden. The most depressing thing here is that nobody looks at the young candidates, like they don't exist or something.
But after years of observations I can surely say:
Not a single president is capable fixing the US, while the current structure of state exists, they are just puppets for the "Democracy" (liberal-democratic dictatorship) TV show.
Well, one wants to commit genocide in the USA, while the other merely supports a genocide abroad. In the absence of a good choice, you can make the utilitarian argument for the least bad choice.
Very few look at Biden as anything more than a, "Block Trump from office" vote. People aren't voting for biden, they are voting for the only one who stands a chance at being elected when pit against Trump
I think we're all pretty bummed that we "have to" vote for Biden. He sucks. He's also the candidate of a party in a 2 party system. We have no choice. It is a shitty system. I'm confident that in a more democratic system of representation (abolish the electoral college, implement ranked-choice voting, etc) we would all spend considerably more time talking about "the best" candidates that match our views most closely, but unfortunately in this country there's really not much point.
