The series tries to tackle the twisted case of the Menéndez brothers who murdered their parents, but it ends up turning a family tragedy into a cheap spectacle.
Everything else aside, Javier Bardem deserves an Emmy for it. He is amazing. The dude is a Spaniard and he went so far as to use the Cuban accent of a man who's lived in an English speaking environment for 30+ years while delivering his Spanish lines. Why?!? Who is that for? That's going the extra 100 miles.
