Lemmy.world NSFW strangeness

I logged into lemmy.world and things are strange. In the upper left corner of my screen, to the left of Communities on the menu I have the text Israel and when I hover over it, I see Nigga Style. Also, the NSFW photo from Lemonparty.org flashes on the screen. I have logged out and in, but nothing changes.

  • An admin account was hacked and they fucked with the website. They've been removed as an admin now and I assume they are working on restoring lemmy.world as we speak. I expect an official statement sometime tonight or tomorrow.
