The reality is that this game had consistently been the most popular game for over a decade now. So practically any exploit that could be in the code can and has been found. The source code is just a cool novelty to see how this game was developed at this point.
With source code you can port game to any device more powerful than Xbox 360, that means soon there will be gta5 android or gta5 switch or something

Yeah, but probably not on GP, due to the copyright... so there will be people doing cash grab asset swaps with ad for every time you move a meter, and obviously malware creators on the internet

Re3/revc source code and finished builds are still available
re3/revc are clean room reverse engineered projects, while gtav source we have is leaked proprietary code
They still got sued by rockstar
afaik that happened because they found out that some contributors used modified decompiled code
And it's still available nonetheless
