- Most of the Apps that appear in the "safe" category aren't the ones that first come to mind when thinking about privacy respecting services^^ I mean MS, Google, Netflix, Discord...
  
  Yeah, take that with a grain of salt, definitely, but I'm just relaying what the article says.
  
  I think another factor needs to be counted here, ecosystem they are attached to. That would rule out GAFTMAN immediately, leaving stuff like Discord or Shein.
