Starfield got off to a strong start on Xbox breaking all sorts of records for Bethesda and now the development team is looking ahead to the future with the upcoming Shattered Space Story Expansion.
During an appearance on the Kinda Funny Gamescast, Todd Howard has mentioned how the expansion DLC is expected to launch in Fall 2024. Before this, players can look forward to some big updates coming soon.

Yeah, "strong start" is dubious.
I'm not considering the game fully released until the creation kit comes out.
If it doesn't come till after the DLC, I'm just not buying the DLC till it comes.
Well, it did have a strong start. It was highest sold Bethesda games, IIRC.
As for the how the game played, that's a completely separate matter.
