My son is also playing Echoes of Wisdom, and I am finding it really enjoyable. He has done something that I didn't even imagine, and vice versa. So very enjoyable to share different solutions and secrets that we find.
I liked FFIX more than FFVII, but I have played both only in recent years, and FFVII was very hyped for me, so it could be because of super high expectations.
Is this the one with the female protagonist? I recall watching some news somewhere, but am not really following Persona 3.
I loved the first Space Marine, so looking forward to Space Marine 2. Will probably be playing solo though, like the first one, so not in any hurry to get to it.
I am also thinking about finishing Ghost of Tsushima due to the sequel, I played about half of it (maybe less) but then my PS+ Extra expired, will have to buy the game now. I have couple of games I want to play before that, like Legend of Zelda that I just started, but want to get to GoT soon.
Total War games are on my wishlist, but haven't gotten around to playing any of them. Do keep us updated how you are liking it.
Hearing the same thing about Ace Attorney Investigations. Looking forward to eventually playing it.
That's interesting about Cat Quest 3, quality over quantity sounds nice to me. I like smaller games now.
I have done 2 main dungeons, it really is fun.
Kind of same here. Everything is on pause right now. Just Echoes of Wisdom!
Finished Greedfall!
I really liked the game. The narrative, the quests, the world, all are very good. Combat, while not great, isn't bad either. Excited about Greedfall 2 now.
Dropped Earthlock. The game was good, but for some reason I just lost interest. Worth checking out if you are a JRPG fan.
Played and finished Jenny LeClue - Detectivu. It's a 2D narrative mystery game. Really enjoyed it. Story was good, gameplay was really fun. Only downside, the game didn't finish. It's to be continue. Though, apparently the sequel is in development, so hopefully we will learn about it soon.
Started The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and loving every minute of it. Not going to say much about it here, since it's just released and many people here would want to experience it themselves, but if you have any questions, you can ask them here.
What about all of you? What have you been playing?

I didn't like it when it was announced, but recently saw a preview on YouTube, and it seems to be shaping up to be a nice game.
Hehe, good luck! The game is really fun.
No idea tbh. I mainly play on consoles, and until a few days back I didn't even know Xbox publishes game on Steam too. Will have to check protondb. Will take a look.
Started playing it, still in the beginning, but loving it so far.
Games has one big problem though, after playing for a bit, don't feel like working now, want to get back to playing it. So, beware of that.
A bit off topic, but I have been using Arch for over a decade now, and it has been pretty stable for me. My only issue in last few years were if my kernel got updated which needed updated nvidia driver, and I rebooted before noticing that. (Very old laptop, so nvidia drivers for this aren't in repos, hence the issue). I didn't use it for gaming though (very old laptop, wouldn't even run old games)
BTW I recently went the opposite way, have been using only Linux for over a decade but got a new laptop a month back and kept the windows as a dual boot, though my main interest is to use it only for MS/Xbox first party games, that don't have Linux support. Saving me from buying a separate Xbox.
Don't be so negative, we can get surprise Concord remaster announcement!
I haven't played it, but generally it doesn't sound fun. @MyNameIsAtticus@lemmy.world makes it sound fun. 😀
Heh, cool.
It's interesting to see that for first year or so they were developing a different idea, before it was changed to current 'echoes' one. We could've gotten a very different game from what we are getting now. 😀
You make this game sound so fun.
Now that he has died and respawned, is he still Jerry's son Cable? Or is it a new character now?
Interesting. Generally NV is considered better than 3, but I wonder if that's by the people who have played the first 2 Fallout games, and like it more cause it's closer to that in some aspects.
Interesting, looking forward to playing Echoes of Wisdom.

Heh, cool. Will check it out.
What did he do?
Wow, as a fan of Flight of the Conchords, what a waste!
Nice! Have heard great things about it but never tried it cause my laptop couldn't run it. It's on my wishlist for "some day"
Pretty much only played Greedfall last week. Game is going good, not much to add about it.
One thing that I didn't mention before, and that shows it's "AA" or low budget is that interior of the buildings is same. For instance, the governer's building is same from inside for all factions. Exactly the same. Same goes for our house in all the cities. Not a big deal tbh, but something I noticed. Doesn't effect the gameplay, or the narrative, which is fun.
Playing a bit of Earthlock but going to focus on it this week, in hope of finishing it this week. Will only get Zelda after I have finished this. Otherwise I won't play it for couple of months and then won't want to get back to it.
Didn't play Trails in the Sky: Second Chapter this week. It has been demoted to a side game when I have nothing else to play, as I want to finish both Greedfall and Earthlock first. Once they are finished will switch it to primary game, cause I want to give it proper focus it deserves. Well, maybe after Legend of Zelda.
