The man who "pulled a gun" posed no threat once he was disarmed. Shooting an unarmed person in the leg and then hijacking a crowded bus, holding the driver at gunpoint and terrorizing passengers as you endanger the safety of everyone on the road isn't "self-defense". Although I understand why you might think that argument would fly in court, considering that you spend all day fantasizing about how you'll be able to get away with crimes on legal technicalities.
