I know I don't have to say this in present company, but with these kinds of people, it's always projection. Like it can't not be projection. I actually just learned there is a term for it: reaction formation.

I'm having a hard time having sympathy for someone who was supporting anti-trans bigots, who were accusing teachers of being pedophiles, and (I suppose) attempting a coup. (Hard to take the last one seriously.)

I do agree on how poorly the article is written tho. But when it can't be based on facts (like police reports or other sources) it would always just be a he said/she said.
If they annoyed everyone in the area, became a public nuisance for a year, and left behind a big mess, well that is a small price to pay for the nation's children finally being saved.
