Logan Sargeant linked with Indycar move for 2025
Logan Sargeant looks set to be the next Formula 1 driver to make the shift to America's top open wheeler series, Indycar.
motor racing writer and author Jeroen Demmendaal said he has heard in Indycar circles that Sargeant will "most likely" end up in the US-based series next year.
"A formal announcement should come in July, before the summer break," he speculated.
Demmendaal is usually very well informed about Indy.
Good for him. Always hard to see a struggling youngster getting booted out, hope he has more luck in Indy.
Agreed. I should really spend a bit of reaearch time but it seems there are many drivers that do well in F3/F2 etc and then completely bomb in F1. I wounder whats the difference that results in such significant difference in performance.
It's probably partly due to the step up in machinery (and how different each team's car is compared to the lower formulae) but I reckon it's more to do with the pressure of being at "the top" - you're not a junior anymore, this is the real thing and it's perform or die
