[Playstation Lifestyle] PlayStation May Go Fully Digital After PS6, Analyst Predicts
Known analyst Mat Piscatella reckons that PlayStation might go fully digital after the PS6, if trends in recent years are anything to go by.
If consoles go digital, I might as well fully embrace PC gaming. I like console gaming because I think the physical games look cooler on a shelf than a digital library. I don’t have to worry about anti-cheat software on my PC if I just get the game for console.
Clearly not something which would encourage me to keep playing videogames.
What happens if you buy a game and hate it?
I’d be ready to pay more for a physical game just to be sure I could resell it if I don’t enjoy it.
There’ll always be a market for physical games.
Just think about the vinyl market right now.
