Man I can't wait until I can see this movie. Any news on whether there will be screenings outside the US?

At this point the Marketing is his name. Well respected director and last movie? Sign me up
22 0 ReplyIt's Miyazaki though, surely the "last movie" trick must get old after the fifth one or so.

I mean, it's Miyazaki, marketing would be overkill
20 0 ReplyCompare that to the latest crappy indiana jones movie.
6 18 ReplyI never thought I wouldn't give a shit about an Indiana Jones movie, but here we are.

Marketing a Miyazaki film is just redundant. It sells itself.
14 0 ReplyYou could say that for a lot of films, hell you could even say that trailers make things worse by spoiling things (which is why they didn't here), and yet studios still spend ridiculous sums on marketing.
I guess they feel that they need to do it for some (crappy) movies, so they have to do it for all of them. Otherwise it would be more obvious which movies are crap, because they're marketed more.

Crazy, that's the power of a respected name in the industry.

4 0 ReplyWasn't there something about a caterpillar that was supposed to be the last one?
2 0 ReplySeems like a late release in the US unfortunately
