But what happens when humans ingest said hormone by eating these tomatoes?
- I imagine not much if you are not a tomato plant.
- You grow tomatoes in strange, new places.
  
  Used to get kidney stones now I get kidney tomatoes.

I'll be honest, I really don't need to increase the yield of my cherry tomato plants lol
- I’ll say! And they spread so virulently, too. Next thing you know, you’re selling dried cherry tomatoes on the local farmer’s market.
(Nerd warning) So awesome to see strigolactones on lemmy. Any other strigolactone researchers out there? I mostly work on the receptor protein D14.
