Scumbag Intel: Shady Practices, Terrible Responses, & Failure to Act
What a shit show. And if it is confirmed that laptop CPU are also affected, even if to a lower extent, AMD will be the only option on consumer hardware in the coming couple of years. Thankfully, Qualcomm entered the scene recently which should stir up the competition and prevent AMD from resting on its laurels.
Honestly, regardless of what happens to Intel, I'm hopeful for Qualcomm providing a real alternative in the CPU space, especially an alternative as meaningfully different as using an entirely different instruction set. More diversity between competing products in the space can only be a good thing since it gives consumers more meaningful choices to make when deciding between products.
haven't watched the video yet
I'm curious if they've pulled off their magic again
Edit:
Intel what the hell
If Intel gets sued to extinction, anyone who's purchased an Intel 13/14th gen might become screwed without recourse when it comes to CPU support/remediation, as such:
Intel's egregious predatory manipulative actions has harmed everyone as the hardware ecosystem is such a vital and integrated part of modern society.
Intel, instead of "chopping wood", perhaps you might want to focus on getting a haircut, your old bangs clearly show split hairs.
If anyone has any recourse/accountability suggestions for Intel owners in other regions/countries please comment below
I'm going to try and figure out if there's anything similar to the FTC for Canadians
I have one of the affected CPUs 😒
"Stop, stop it is already dead."
