A growing number of smaller companies are adopting a four-day workweek. Now the results of a recent trial at Microsoft suggest it could work even for the biggest businesses.
Microsoft currently technically does unlimited time off, so there really is nothing stopping managers and PMs from cancelling meetings from every Friday and making this a reality for a global trial, but they wouldn't do that because the meetings are a big part of how they show their worth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love telling my manager I wasn't able to complete xyz because his Friday meeting of bs went 3 hours long when it should've been 30 min... I've even told coworkers to take it offline we don't need a 45min description of your entire workflow for the project just say I accomplished x but having trouble with y because of z, drives me fucking crazy!
