Who here customizes their instance profiles?

I don't even know what that means

I haven't found any interface for setting or seeing user profiles. Not on the web, not in voyager. I see people refer to them but I just assume my server isn't on the latest release or something.

Edit: ... and I went poking around again and found it in the browser under my profile settings, and I can now see profile information that way. Still without any access in my primary client, it's not particularly useful.

You mean use a custom avatar and add a short bio + links? I do, but if you're thinking of anything beyond that I would not know where and what to look for, sorry ;)

I have a cool gif as a banner, but I don't think others can even see?

I use Boost for Lemmy. That's about as far as i go for customization.
