In recent days the Vice President has quickly ditched some of her boldest initiatives, needlessly making herself look unprincipled.
right wing border policies, no raising the minimum wage, no women's rights, more police funding, nothing done about the environment, no universal healthcare here we come
would have motivated a lot of non and undecided voters if Obama and Biden both would have followed through when he campaigned on his progressive platforms but instead the Democrats are redder every election cycle
totes. when I think of those things and where we are now with reagan and bush and clinton and bush and obama and trump and biden. I always think how its from the biden and obama terms. 4sure. and im not going to put /s, oh wait. doh.

Yes true. But if she wants to downplay it to get the vote of the centrist and mildly conservative rubes then so be it.
It might be a balancing act as it’s important to keep the base energized and actually hit the polls too.
It makes more sense to adopt policies that are broadly popular than it is to play to "centrists". (Whoever those are. I've met very few people who don't want healthcare, are against jobs, etc. And the ones I have met are already firmly in the Trump camp, and there's nothing Harris could do to change that.)
Progressives always say this, and they are unfortunately always wrong. Face it, if you are progressive you won’t sit this election out. If you are centrist you might (or you’ll vote Trump).
I'm sure these guys have run for national office, right?
