I imagine the goal was to prestage mRNA vaccines against potentials so they can be mass produced quickly if the viruses ever come up. It really wasn't a bad idea depending on if you watch Fox News or not.

I remember how Trump was ridiculed when he was like if you don't test you don't have a problem, then democrats got in and basically continued the same policy and everybody just stopped talking about it.
Well both political parties in the US are pretty conservative/right leaning. Almost the same side of the same coin.
Ladies and gentlemen, we got 'em, mission accomplished. We had our one pandemic and it is never happening again.
That's the problem with kids these days: we have a world-class pandemic at home, (that is desperate for attention but you barely acknowledge anymore), but you already want to go looking for something new. I blame Tiktok
