Classic Freeman. Play down to the competition. Im not sure he is gonna turn it around. He's been in it this long he should be able to win this with some kind of ease, or at least win.
And like last year or that year before beating Duke at the last second. We just can't play week in, week out. Always a stumble against a team we should beat.
I don't understand why this is as close as it is. Does Marcus Freeman only get the team hyped up for big games? I know full well how painful that is, as that was Texas under Tom Herman...
Yikes I'm so isolated from advertisements it's very jarring watching live TV again. Even last week I watched through an app and had limited advertisements.
Super frustrating to have a touchdown taken away because of a holding penalty, and then missing the FG. But there will be plenty of opportunities to score. Although I'm a fan of both teams, the Michigan team is a husk of what they were last year and I really expect my Longhorns to push them around, especially later in the game
Edit to add: I really do not like the CGI Allstate FG nets. But I guess it has me talking about them, so advertising works, I guess?
So we lose Baxter in the preseason, and Blue goes down in this game. :( It's a good thing Wisner has stepped up, otherwise the RB room would be pretty bare. Hope Blue is okay.
Actually tuning away from my Texas game because it's so lopsided. K-State just got a scoop n' score in this one. I was hoping the Green Wave could hold on to their lead but this is probably the turning point in this game
I am here for anybody playing CU. Deion is not a good person, and doesn't even have the courtesy to limit the damage to football players like your average sociopath coach.
DJ Lagway starting and looks mostly like he should versus a middling FCS team, but this Florida team is still very inefficient. Billy doesn't get fired this week, but he's not restoring much faith either.
Just curious, is there a good week for him to be fired? Especially since the back of the schedule is such a gauntlet, it seems like it would set up an interim for failure.
A lot of people think if he loses to UCF that'll do it. Nobody really gives a shit how the interim does. The new coach will either be a huge splash or will lose the class and Billy's top 'croots.
Billy's only, and I mean ONLY chance is to win five+ and have Lagway look like next year will involve Heisman chatter.
So are there going to be any Duke's mayo shenanigans like with the bowl game? Maybe a mayo bath for the loser rather than the winner (seems like that would be more motivating)?
