That's just the tip of the iceberg. Froeschke also revealed that from pre-orders to the upcoming first expansion, Diablo IV's total lifetime revenue has already surpassed $1 billion. That figure is no small feat, but it's not surprising considering Diablo IV is Blizzard's fastest-selling game ever.
I love PoE but will say I don't like the glitterfest speedster every build turns into. I know many d2 builds can get pretty bright and fast too, but it somehow has more cronch for what I'm doing. I can't shake it, and clearly struggle to define it.
It's a great great game and I look forward to poe2, no hate.
It's fun for a while, but for me, it lacks the replayability. I have ~50ish hours in there, but after that I just couldn't stay engaged. Even tried again after a bigger patch, still couldn't hook me in.
I mean the skill effects especially. Or maybe even the choice of skills. If you use Lightning Strike with many projectiles (which also return) and some fancy MTX: self-inflicted clutter. I played a Bleedplosion Gladiator and a Viper Strike of the Mamba Trickster this season, both were fine clutter-wise.
Waiting for the sequel of PoE to launch. Latest disable just sucked. It was a slog. And you don't get to experiment with abilities and equipment so much, there's usually only 1 good combination for any class....don't use it, you won't win
