This is one of the hardest TNG episodes to watch. Picard was brilliant here. Fuck Gul Madred.
10 0 ReplyHe's such a good captain. Human, but very principled. They really pushed his character in some of these episodes.

9 1 ReplyI give up; the memes are too good. Where should I start watching Star Trek?
8 0 ReplyOh boy, you're in for some fun!
If you have a soft spot for 1960s style campiness, go ahead and start with the original series. (That's where I did)
Otherwise, start with Star Trek: The Next Generation and just run with it.
7 0 ReplyThere are probably guides, but just pick a random TNG episode, probably not from season 1 or 2.
5 1 ReplyStar Trek TNG after Riker grows a beard, so season 2.
4 0 ReplyMy gf loved the beardless seasons as well, so I'd start from the beginning, only skip forward if you're not liking it.
5 0 ReplyThere's a good episode in season one... I don't remember which one but there is one

This has more levels than a galaxy-class
6 0 ReplyMore levels than a Constitution-class during that one scene in Star Trek V where they use the rocket boots in the turbolift shaft.

5 0 ReplyGoing to IV Guys for a Roman meal.
5 0 Reply🎶IV BIG GUYS🎶
DigBar plays in the distance..
4 0 ReplyIn the spirit of the episode, shouldn't Picard be shouting that there are "FIVE GUYS!" since that's the "truth" and not what the sign is trying to gaslight him into believing?
4 0 ReplyHmm, maybe we're seeing what Picard sees!
2 0 ReplyOooh actually you're right...The irony is there ARE Five guys 🤔
