Since last year’s acquisition by Microsoft, the company has cut more than 1,000 jobs.
70 billion dollars and they can't afford to pay the employees.

Hardly Microsoft alone. Sony sunk billions into Bungie. Around 20%+ OF THE TOTAL WORKFORCE have been laid off at bungie just in 2024.

RTO just means "layoffs" under a different branding. These gross companies know how to be extra gross. When they really want to actually do a big layoff, that's when they'll roll out the "RTO" policy.
