If we're offering our unsolicited opinions, I say Eric Schmidt should go all-in on shutting the fuck up. His "screw the environment, let's make more profits this quarter!" attitude is harming us all...

- With everyone's life, including his own.
  
  He doesn't intend to be around long enough to face the consequences of intentional failure. Not in human form, anyways.
- He's playing to lose.

I don't care how astronomical their mathematical models are, they are not 'the arrival of an alien intelligence'.

Maybe he should read Juice by Tim Winton to see how people in the future feel about that! He’s one of those deadhead techbros.
