About a third of gig workers surveyed said they need the work, despite 44 per cent making more than $100,000 per year.

Depends where you live in Canada.

Maybe not if you have kids and dependents. But that's twice what I make and I'm extremely comfortable and want for nothing.
1 1 ReplyDepends where you live too. I've got depends and I barely manage to save for retirement and I'm making quite a bit more than 100k. And I wouldn't say I live lavishly either.
