29 2 ReplyNot a wizard.
12 1 ReplyAny significantly advanced science is indistinguishable from magic.
19 1 ReplyIf his science was sufficiently advanced it would've been able to produce an earth-shattering kaboom.

Is a wizard someone that uses magic?
2 0 ReplyIt's definitely not an alien using a disintegration ray.
5 2 ReplySo a wizard isn't someone that uses magic? What is your definition of Wizard?
4 2 ReplyI'll have to ponder on that.

Marvin didn't have the wizard hat.
4 0 ReplyHow dare you project your limited idea of what a wizard hat is on Marvin!

I think he just has a small very dark coloured head. He's not just eyes in shadow in a hood, he has a round head... it's just black.

1 0 ReplyOk not small, but yes, it's a ball not a void imo
1 0 ReplySufficiently advanced technology.

They’re not wizards, but did Jawas from Star Wars establish the aesthetic?
17 0 ReplySeems like Jawas were the first in ~1977. The fandom wiki says that LucasArts sued Neil Young for having Jawa-like creatures on stage in 1978.

Jawas didn't wear the wizard hat. Same reason Marvin doesn't fit.
2 0 ReplyLooking at the picture above, hoods seem to count. If not, then half of them don't apply to the rule.
