Not really, not all the votes are in yet, but he actually is polling behind his vote total from last time, 70M to 74M.
It's Harris that saw a steep drop-off in support. Biden got 81M votes, Harris so far only has 66M. The final amount will be higher, but there is a clear enthusiasm gap. Almost 1/6 of Biden voters simply didn't show up. That makes it hard to win.
You don't have to be a misogynist to think Kalama was a terrible choice. The DNC could have had Biden drop out earlier, they could have had a primary and pick a different candidate, but no they have to go with a woman who slept her way into politics. Hillary was a better candidate than her and she was fucking bought and paid for by Wall Street.
Biden shouldn't have seeked a second term in the first place. If I recall correctly, in his 2020 campaign he claimed he would step aside after his term, and now that he didn't hold to it, we're screwed. The Dems never had a full campaign, and Biden (unintentionally) sabotaged any chance they had to win. This is definitely how he'll be remembered.
