Report: Twitter ranks worst in climate change misinformation
Climate coalition cites Twitter’s lack of clear policies against misinformation and additional confusion from Musk takeover
Could stop at “twitter ranks worst” and it would be just fine
20 0 ReplySure but c/climate is for talking about climate, and so "twitter is the worst place to get medical advice" or something would be off topic.

7 0 ReplyShould it be said “best in misinformation” if it has it the most?
7 0 ReplyI think it would be "best in disinformation" because the "goal" is to spread false information.
Misinformation is unintentional, so i think it would be "worst" because the goal is not to spread false information.

6 1 ReplyFacebook probably has so much misinfo but it's not being spewed by prominent people so it doesn't rise to everyone's feeds.
Reddit mods are so ban heavy you can't even be correct on a controversial topic without being banned.
I don't think any of the other sites allow talk of controversial topics. So it's expected to me that Twitter would have a lot of misinfo.
4 0 ReplyNot sure if this applies to climate too, but past looks at misinformation on Facebook on other topics have found that almost all of it comes from a small number of accounts
