Admin breaks community rules and post cant be removed
Full disclosure the link is an affiliate link for those who buy the pass to have the videos and content forever. So just wanted to be transparent.
Please remove your advertisement from the ADHD community. Its clearly stated in the sidebar that advertisements are not allowed.
It sucks that I have to appeal to support because an admin broke the rules and I have no means of managing it myself as the community moderator.
I removed it and I'm very sorry didn't think things through
24 2 ReplyI shouldn't have put the affiliate link in. I thought the event would be a benefit. Again I am sorry and wasn't trying to be a dick.
19 2 ReplyThanks, but its still there for me and I don't see anything in the mod log to show it was removed?
10 0 ReplyI'm trying everywhere to delete the damn post. I titled it deleted and took out any mention of the link.
9 1 ReplySame for me but it also shows a lock symbol from connect but I can see an option to reply so not sure what that means, can anyone tell me what it is?

I agree. Was impulsive and didn't read the directions. What a surprise for ADHD.

Seriously sorry being a mod sucks...
19 2 ReplyBased on the username and affiliate link it looks like he runs an internet marketing company? Sus...

22 7 ReplyJust so you know, he removed the post and has apologized in here. As an ADHD myself, it's a pretty typical fuckup for people like us, but most of us tend to own it pretty hard once it's pointed out. Some don't, but this guy did.
edit: I did come here primed for disdain, but by the time I did he had handled it. Too bad he took a few hours and maybe lost a few people for good.

Lemmy needs to let mods and admins post without distinguishing themselves.
10 1 ReplyAny updates on this topic? Can someone at least give a comment? Is it really accepted that admins break rules established on communities?
7 2 ReplyAdmin deleted their post and responded in this thread that it wasn't on purpose.
