Did Boost for Reddit finally actually die?
I was just browsing and suddenly couldn't comment, couldn't load... everything returns an Error 500: Internal Server something. Is this an issue on Reddit's end, or is Boost finally dead like the rest?
You are still using that site?? Lol geeze give it time and it will be like the rest
36 2 ReplyHas Reddit usage gone down in the past few weeks since the API change or has it returned to normal?

Yeah.. lemmy has little to no activity on most communities besides meme stuff..
8 11 ReplyYou need to find some new communities. My subscribe feed is loaded up every time I open the app. I have zero reason to go reddit.

I'm getting the same but it looks like the issue is Reddit itself. The number of reports on down detector has skyrocketed.
9 0 ReplyOk yeah it's back. Seems like Reddit just had a hiccup. Everyone go back to your business :P

still works for me
8 0 ReplySame here. My understanding is that reddit is quietly allowing 3rd party apps for anyone that is or was previously a moderator because of the mod tools that the official app is lacking. As a former mod, apparently I get to keep it, at least until they change their mind.
5 0 ReplyProbably what's happening, kind of ironic when you think about this whole debacle

3 1 Replyno patches, I still have the same app which used to be in the play store and it still operates normally
3 0 ReplyDo you know how to get the client id to make it work?

Still working fine here, too, but only on my two mod alts. My non-mod account just gets some kind of "request exceeded" error.
