The article doesn't say, but I wonder how much we export?
Sounds like something I can get behind.
Why would people in other countries buy our beer? It's nothing special and certainly far inferior to beers from Europe, Americas, and Japan. I don't have experience with Chinese beers but I bet they also make better beers than us.
For me Asahi Super Dry rules supreme.
Don't confuse exports with GDP, buying a local beer increases GDP
Also, it's for the whole brewing industry, so that would also include wages and other input costs etc.
Is... that a lot? I have no frame of reference.
It's far more than I'd have expected, and that's just beer.
